Bynoe Community Advancement Cooperative Society Limited was incorporated on the 29th October 1979 as an indigenous housing provider. The Founding Directors of Bynoe were: Adam Billy, Daisy Burnett, Doris Casey, Sylvia Charger, Laura Geordie, Shirley George, Rolly Gilbert, Eddie Miles, Una Owens and Elza Savo.Bynoe CACS continues to provide quality housing but has now expanded to include several other business ventures as well as being a host organisation for the Normanton CDEP program.
